What's in every window

Four layers, one clock

01

Order book

Every top-of-book change to two levels deep, on both the Up and Down side, from the second the window opens to the second it settles.

02

Trades

Every fill with price, size and side, stamped with the exchange's own timestamp and ours, so latency is measurable, not guessed.

03

Settlement

The price to beat, the closing reference and the result for every window, with market and token identifiers so you can verify any row.

04

Free sample

Why it's different

Built by traders who needed it

General prediction-market datasets give you snapshots every few minutes. A 5-minute window can open, swing and settle between two of those snapshots.

We record the book tick by tick and file every row against its window, so the question you actually care about (what did the book look like 240 seconds in, and what happened next?) is a one-line query.

  • 7coins, every window
  • 288windows per coin per day
  • 2,016windows per day across all coins

FAQ

Questions traders ask first

What is Polymarket 5-minute crypto data?

Polymarket runs a new Up or Down market every five minutes on seven coins. Each market asks whether the coin finishes the window above its opening price. Our files capture what happened inside every one of those windows: the order book, every trade, and how the window settled.

Which coins are covered?

All seven Polymarket 5-minute crypto markets: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, Dogecoin (DOGE), BNB and Hyperliquid (HYPE).

What format are the files in?

Apache Parquet, one file per coin per day, plus a CSV option for spreadsheets. Parquet loads directly into pandas, Polars, DuckDB, R and Spark.

How is the data aligned?

Every row carries the window it belongs to (window_start) and the milliseconds elapsed since the window opened (elapsed_ms). That means book, trades and settlement join on two columns, with no timestamp wrangling.

How often is new data added?

Daily. Each UTC day is published as a closed file shortly after midnight UTC.

How far back does the data go?

Tick-level order book and trade data runs from 16 October 2026, the day our recorder began capturing every 5-minute window on all seven coins, and grows every day. Every day is complete: 288 windows per coin.

Is there a free sample?

Yes. One full hour of real BTC data (12 windows, every book update and every trade, plus each window's result) is free to download as Parquet or CSV, with no sign-up.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time from your account. You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for, and anything you have already downloaded is yours to keep for your own research.

Is this affiliated with Polymarket?

No. Poly5MCrypto is an independent data service. Polymarket is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe the markets our data covers.

Can I redistribute the files?

Your subscription covers your own research, backtesting and internal use. Reselling or republishing the raw files is not permitted. Get in touch if you need a commercial or team licence.
